A very photogenic church with a beautifully decorated interior, a 53-metre high bell tower and a high tower
The church, very photogenic thanks to its red and ochre colours, appears on all the town's tourist brochures. Built at the end of the 18th century on the site of a sanctuary destroyed by fire, it underwent its last transformation in 1870, when the architect Luis Giorgi erected the tower that now accompanies the building. Its bell tower rises to 53 m, which gives the title of the highest tower in Latin America to that of the Church of San Francisco. Depending on taste, the interior is beautifully decorated, or too crowded!

Magnifique église!
En vous promenant dans la ville de Salta, vous ne la manquerez pas avec ses belles couleurs pourpre et jaune d'or. Allez y faire un tour! Ca ne coûte rien, ça ne prend pas beaucoup de temps et elle est vraiment belle!

C'est vraiment une belle église. Ses couleurs rouge et jaune lui donnent tout son charme. On peut visiter l'intérieur gratuitement aux heures d'ouverture.

Très belle église construite en 1880 l'intérieur vaut vraiment le détour beaucoup de dorures le plafond est magnifique on ne se lasse pas d'admirer toutes ces richesses

Salta est une ville agréable avec un passé architectural colonial encore bien conservé. Cette église en est un bel exemple et mérite la visite. Elle est située au centre et peut aisément être visité dans une promenade à pied.
