FESTIVAL NACIONAL DE FOLKLORE DE COSQUÍN

At the end of January for nine days, or rather during the "Nine Moons of Cosquín", the largest folk music festival in the country has been held since 1961. In front of an audience that has grown steadily over the years, the greatest artists have performed there (Los Cantores Del Alba, Mercedes Sosa, Los Chalchaleros or Gustavo Cuchi Leguizamón), and the main stage is named after one of the most respected of them all, Atahualpa Yupanqui, winner of the festival's first prize in 1967.
