With 13 tree-climbing courses, young and old alike have a great time! Properly harnessed and guided by a team of pros, everyone learns to overcome obstacles and scamper from tree to tree... like a squirrel! There are several levels for beginners and for the more adventurous. On the road leading to the Château de Chazeron, take the first path on the right after the former Manoir Fleuri. In the forest, you'll find three fitness trails, both fun and challenging. Châtel-Guyon's racquetball center gets a facelift in 2020. On the tennis side, two indoor and two outdoor courts will delight competitors and Sunday players alike. Between 1912 and 1971, a railroad line took spa-goers from Riom to Châtel-Guyon. Now disused, the former railroad line is now home to a "voie verte" (greenway), ideal for soft mobility. Walkers, cyclists and even families with young children in baby carriages can enjoy a 2.5-kilometre walk on stabilized ground. Once you've reached the final lookout point, you can choose to do the same in the opposite direction, or continue towards the Ambène greenway on the other side of the ring road.

Breaking-in, dressage, riding lessons: the world of horses in the great outdoors! The club's regulars will share the pleasure of riding with you. Rides can be organized over several days. Lessons are given in the riding arena, for all ages and sizes. Even baby riders can join in the fun, as soon as they're able to walk. The school has around fifty beautiful Merens and Auvergnats for breeding and maintenance.

Frédérique Lotz is a Volvic stone enameller, but her workshop is located in the hamlet of Les Grosliers, north of Châtel-Guyon. Here, she makes a variety of decorative and ornamental items: tableware, paper presses, funerary items, etc. You can even customize your own object to order. All year round, introductory lava enameling workshops are organized for children and adults. During these workshops, the artist will reveal all the secrets of this ancestral craft.
