San Pedro is a village lost in the middle of the jungle, 156 kilometers from the Saltos de Mocona. Specialized in the production of vegetable essences, it is surrounded by forests of Paraná pine (Araucaria angustifolia) planted by man. The Parana pine is the emblem of the city. It is a splendid species of conifer that can reach 40 meters in height, but is in danger of extinction. The tree is protected and it is forbidden to cut it down. The reserve and the Caballero Park, a few kilometers away, can be visited. Here you can go kayaking or hiking. Nature lovers will be delighted, a very green landscape, with beautiful lakes.
