The site boasts a museum displaying objects from everyday life on the pampas and numerous rooms evoking the cowboys' past.
Reopened in 2015 after a phase of works, the site reproduces all the buildings of an estancia, including the famous pulpería (grocery bar) where the gauchos used to drink alcohol. The museum exhibits various objects from everyday life in the Pampa, a way of life narrated by Ricardo Güiraldes, the famous gaucho writer who is honoured in this museum. His novel Don Segundo Sombra, published in 1926, is one of the best known in Argentine literature. Many rooms that evoke the past of these cowboys.
