One of the prettiest villages in the region, famous for its rural surroundings dotted with estancias, dedicated to cattle and horse breeding. Created around 1730, it is one of the bastions of the gaucho culture and is the favorite stop for tourists who want to discover the gates of the pampas. The place has therefore lost some of its authenticity... To discover it in its true light, go there on November 10, Día de la Tradición, the annual festival of the gauchos. The event is celebrated with music, dances and traditional markets. The speciality is goldsmith's and silversmith's work, of which the shops abound, and the work of leather and gaucho equipment.
