The house has been converted into a museum, with several rooms preserved and numerous documents on the life of the legendary artist Gardel.
This is the house that Gardel bought from his mother in 1927. They both lived there until 1933. Many documents about Gardel's life are on display there, such as newspaper articles, old records and even portraits, in an attempt to preserve and make known the cultural heritage of this legendary artist, an illustrious icon of Argentine tango. Several rooms have been kept in their original state but since the complete refurbishment of the museum in 2017, the place has changed somewhat and these remodelings have completely distorted the spirit of the house.
