FERIA DE MATADEROS-FERIA DE LAS ARTESANIAS Y TRADICIONALES POPULARES ARGENTINAS
Read moreOur heart in the field of festivals. San Telmo is a great thing, but it is made for tourists and is strictly tour of Buenos Aires. The Feria's feria is quite different. It is truly Argentine and highlights some of the provinces of Interior (la Pampa, the North-West). It is simply much more authentic. In the programme: North West folklore dance ball, craft stands (prices are reasonable), outdoor parrillas, humitas or locros stands (regional dishes of the Northwest) and finally, démonstration of the gauchos on their proud mounts (usually around 14 h). A colourful feria where you will find a few traces of the customs of the country.
