Without any hesitation, it is the most beautiful bookstore in Buenos Aires, and even, since 2019, the most beautiful bookstore in the world according to National Geographic magazine. Installed in the heart of the city's legendary old theatre, El Grand Splendid, it offers an endless collection, stored on several floors. The principle is always the same: airy shelves, a café where concerts and conferences are held and small reading rooms set up in the former cinema boxes.

In the ideal setting of a former cinema, it is perfect for a rainy day and get lost among its shelves. You can quietly read a book in the seats without disturbing nobody. On the stage, there á a cafe with small-catering facilities where you can also read the books while having lunch or a coffee.
