For over 50 years Sifani has been one of the leading names in jewelry in Sri Lanka, whose work is particularly appreciated by Westerners. Today, the company has locations in London, Malaysia, Seychelles and the Maldives. The pieces incorporate diamonds, sapphires, pearls and many other precious stones. While the designer's workshop and main gallery are based in Colombo, Kandy boasts one of the few retail outlets in the country. It is located south of the city on the road leading to the botanical gardens.
