It is one of the must-see destinations of the park. These sand dunes, which are the highest in the country and some of which reach 295 meters in height, cover an area of 900 km². They are 100 km long, but remain relatively narrow (6 to 12 km wide) because they are contained by a mountain range. The effect appears somewhat unreal. How did so much sand get here? The dunes are located more than 100 km west of the Yolyn Am valley. Their shape changes with the wind, as does their color, which turns orange as the sun disappears behind their lines.
