Travel Guide Ghirza

Ghirza is far from everything. Tourist circuits normally provide for a picnic on site and generally integrate it at the course, either from Gharyan (via the Roman mausoleum of Al-Orban via the Gharyan-Tarhouna route), or from Zliten or Misratha, often on the chemin de Syrte (joining the littoral road at the crossing to As-Sadada). The end of the road to Ghirza follows the route of the Great Artificial River, which made it possible to strengthen the agricultural development of Tarhouna. Shortly after the village of Ghirza, you must take a trail to go to the tombs of the northern necropolis of the ancient fortified farmhouses.
