Sports and leisure activities Aydat

The sailing school at the base nautique offers the opportunity to sail on a variety of boats: kayaks, paddleboats, catamarans, e-foils and wing foils... It has modern facilities and offers a range of activities: discovery mornings, private lessons, introductory and advanced courses, and teenage courses. In July and August, two boats are available for people with reduced mobility, as well as Tiralos for supervised swimming. Bikes are also available for hire.

Rides with Alexandre and Sylvain's donkeys are reserved for children aged 3 and over. Adults will accompany them and hold the lead of Fourchette, Jeannot, Zoé and their companions. Along the shores of Lac d'Aydat, there are two family-friendly walks through the forest. The first is a 20-minute tour over 1 kilometer, the second an hour-long walk over 3 kilometers. Bombs are provided at the start. The donkeys are well fed, clean and well harnessed.

We recommend starting from the restaurant Le Domaine du lac, not far from the tourist office. Follow the lake in the direction of the campsite, then leave the path and take the road to the campsite. Pick up a path that follows the lake and arrive in the village of Aydat, next to the church. Then cross the wetlands on the pontoon bridges. Here you can admire the diversity of the flora and fauna. The walk ends in front of the tourist office. The 5.7 km hike is easy and can be completed by the whole family in just under 2 hours.

Escape game, laser game, treasure hunt: so many leisure activities offered in the middle of nature by Sandra and Jacques. They have created a place that respects the environment: eco-responsible buildings, dry toilets, energy autonomy... The activities are fun and educational. Between two activities, a break in the relaxation area or a discovery of local products at the Cabinet des saveurs is always appreciated. To end the day, Auvèrnha, a luminous course, is proposed. Here, regardless of age, everyone enjoys themselves and has a good time.

With friends or family, go on an adventure in the Aydat forest. Just 35 minutes from Clermont-Ferrand, Altiparc is set in a beautiful natural environment. After a safety briefing, it's time for the many activities on offer: tree-to-tree high wire courses, monkey bridges, lianas, nets... The courses are adapted to the age of the visitors, and safety is paramount with a continuous lifeline. Younger children, aged 3 to 6, can climb 3 dedicated courses and have fun on the giant trampoline. Older children can enjoy the zip-line course and free-fall.

Aluna means in Kogi language: "Spirit of nature, moment of respite to think the world". A team of professionals, great connoisseurs of the area, mountain guides, Nordic walking guides, eco-tourism consultants, creators of stays (e.g. botanical with picking for gourmet preparation), is at your service. Small groups (max 8 people) and 100% nature are favored throughout France. Families are not left out, how about hiking with a donkey or living the life of a trapper for a weekend?

The Massif du Massif Association was first founded in 1985 following the Mountain Law, under the name Auvergne Ski de Fond. It is responsible for the coordination and enhancement of the northern areas of the Massif Central. Slide down a summer toboggan, cross the forest in the trees, test your agility at homeball and obstacle course, develop your senses on the barefoot trail... All these activities offered by the Chouette Parc have been designed for children aged 2 to 14. They move around the two-hectare park, following the activities and their desires. Need a break between two sporting challenges? Drinks, ice creams, pancakes, waffles, snacks and well-balanced meals can all be enjoyed on the terrace.
