Engenho d'Ouro is a distillery of the eponymous cachaça. You can visit it and see the still working. The products used are organic and processed on site. It is possible to buy some bottles in the distillery's shop. Of course, this alcohol should be consumed in moderation. Traditional restaurant of excellent quality on the spot. The visit is very interesting because it allows you to immerse yourself in an important aspect of the local economy and traditions in a setting that is not distorted by a tourist setting.
