In the summer, the streets of the city centre host the "Night Market", which offers various leather goods and handicrafts. Concerts and popular dance shows liven up both markets. As for the street market, you can find everything! It's a great way to mingle with the locals and pick up some interesting items.

After working for many years as a butcher at the Maó market, Sergi Bosch decided to open his own meat and poultry store in Ferreries three years ago: Sa Carnisseria ("the butchery" in French). Sensitized to the issue of gluten and allergies triggered by animal proteins, but also to food intolerances of all kinds, Sergi offers products suitable for everyone! Son Mercer de Baix is a well-known Ferreries cheese manufacturer whose white-walled finca (traditional Menorcan rural dwelling dedicated to farming) overlooks 125 ha of pasture where dairy cows graze peacefully. Popular products include the famous D.O.P. Maó-Minorca cheese, as well as more personal but no less delicious creations such as "Coeur de Mua". Son Mercer de Baix's products can be found in a number of prestigious boutiques on the island, as well as on the peninsula.

Founded in 1990, Sa Canova, a manufacturer of top-quality Minorcan cheese, has become a benchmark in the island's gastronomic landscape. While the story began with the traditional production of the famous Mahón-Minorca cheese, Sa Canova went on to produce other cheeses with different flavors and textures, as well as a range of quality dairy products. Various farms on the island provide Sa Canova with excellent milk in large quantities. The Ferreries store is sure to please!

Soraya Bosch and her family passionately run this cheese factory/grocery store, which is highly recommended for the quality local products on offer (spices, oils, jams, honey, cookies, embroidered fabrics), as well as for the incredible cheese and wine tasting sessions on offer! It's also possible to combine the tasting with a guided tour of the stables and production facilities, but that's not all: at Sa Roqueta, you can also take part in cheese-making workshops! A great address.

Committed to sustainable agriculture and self-sufficiency for the three years it has been in existence, this small structure, owned by a Frenchman but managed by a Menorcan - the friendly and knowledgeable Tònia Ramon - produces an excellent ecological cheese! Unfortunately, the cheese dairy has no fixed point of sale in Ferreries. However, their products can be found in all the best delicatessens on the island, as well as on the stalls of the main artisan markets and gastronomic events.

The name of master pastry chef Lluís Febrer is well known in town, but also on the rest of the island. This family-run business specializes not only in traditional pastries, but also in Menorcan and Balearic specialties. Cookies, muffins, madeleines, panellets, mitjallunes, ensaïmadas and other sweet treats are available from the stalls. Note that everything produced here is gluten-free!
