Don't miss this coastal defense tower, built in the century to protect the town from sea attacks.

Built in the 17th century on the site of a medieval tower to protect the town from enemy ships, this restored coastal defense structure stands proudly at the mouth of Ciutadella harbor. Pyramidal in shape and surrounded by a moat, its facades are adorned with beautiful Baroque sculptures. Inside, a vaulted room, once used to store food and weapons, leads to a terrace once armed with cannons, flanked by a small observation tower, accessed by a spiral staircase.

on a promené tranquillement depuis le port et on tombe sur ce fort sur le chemin le long de l'eau avec un joli point de vue. Dommage que ca reste fermé, et on ne trouve nulle part les horaire. On a baigné quelques jours plus tard dans une crique en face, l'eau claire et poissoneuse

Cette tour est à part de la ville, de l'autre côté du port. Nous sommes loin de la foule qui arpente la vieille ville.
Il y a à côté de vieilles ancres marines.
C'est un joli point de vue sur la côte déchiquetée
