The Talayotic village of Trepucó, classified as a historical and artistic monument, is a recommended stopover for history buffs
The talayotic village of Trepucó was discovered in 1931 by the English archaeologist Margaret Murray, and was declared a historical and artistic monument. It is one of the largest and most impressive archaeological sites in Menorca, covering more than 5,000 square meters and consisting of a monumental talayot - a stone building in the shape of a tower - and a very well preserved taula - a megalith in the shape of a "T". A recommended stop for history buffs.
