Petit Futé's opinion on TALAYOTIC VILLAGE OF TREPUCÓ

Vintage plate 2020

The talayotic village of Trepucó was discovered in 1931 by the English archaeologist Margaret Murray and was immediately declared a historic and artistic monument. It is one of the largest and most impressive archaeological sites in Menorca, covering more than 5,000 square metres and consisting of a monumental talayot - a stone building in the shape of a tower - and a well-preserved taula - a T-shaped megalith. A recommended stopover for history buffs.
