This peaceful fishing port seems, on the surface at least, to be resistant to tourism. Porto Colom (or Portocolom) is a village attached to the municipality of Felanitx and is home to some 4,000 residents, who themselves refer to it more prosaically as "Es Port" (the port). There are two distinct areas: the old town, considered one of the best preserved in Mallorca, and the port, which has probably existed since the 18th century, where you can enjoy a break on a terrace to enjoy its inspiring serenity. In the old part of the town, you will appreciate the 19th-century neo-Gothic church dedicated to Our Lady of Carmel, which is celebrated on July 16.
