The March collection is first of all an incredible modern palace (built from 1939 to 1945), the largest and most luxurious in the Balearic Islands. Juan March was the richest man in Spain, if not in Europe. One of the billionaire's sons, Bartholomé, was an unrivalled art collector. The list of wonders is long: let us mention the Neapolitan crib of the XVIIIth century, the music room of J. M. Sert or the polychrome wooden ceiling of the first room.
