Amazing fortress with a small round patio and a municipal museum offering a free visit on Sundays
3 km from the centre of Palma and more than 100 m above the sea, this amazing fortress offers a beautiful view of the city and its bay. You can't miss it: its massive circular construction is flanked by four towers, including a keep. Built in the 14th century at the request of James II, the castle was the residence of the kings of Majorca, but also a military prison in the 16th century. It shelters a small round patio, with two galleries of arches, as well as the municipal museum of History. Free visit on Sunday.

Vue sur la baie de Palma
On peut accéder au château facilement en voiture. Sa forme circulaire est originale mais c'est surtout le point de vue sur Palma et sa baie qui vaut le coup d'oeil.

Bellver, belle vue !
Château sympa mais sans grande prétention, sur sa colline, au milieu d'un grand parc. A voir s'il pleut, sinon le détour ne s'impose pas.

Château qui domine la ville de Palma, agréable visite. Nous avons particulièrement aimé la vue et le grand patio rond entouré d'arcades.

Chateau imposant et un peu en dehors de la cohue touristique. Rien d'exceptionnel en soi, mais agréable à regarder et très jolie vue !
