Petit Futé's opinion on COVA DE CAN MARÇÀ

The Can Marçà cave, to the north of Ibiza, has a history that goes back over 100,000 years. It seems that pirates were the first to discover it, in the 19th century, and used it to hide their goods. Traces of red and black paint, drawn by the smugglers to orient themselves in the galleries, testify to this mysterious past. The visit is quite short, but allows you to see the island of Ibiza from a different angle: from the inside! Sound and light shows are occasionally organised here.
