Sant Mateu d'Albarca is another small and rather isolated village in the interior region of the northeast of the island. It is really far from the crowds of Ibiza, literally and figuratively. Red earth, agriculture, carob trees, hundred-year-old olive trees, orange trees and vineyards. A concentrate of yesteryear that deserves a small detour, for the charm of these few houses around their church and the beautiful surrounding landscape. Don't miss the visit to the Sa Cova winery , which has been in operation for about 30 years now. Usually, the discovery of the vineyard ends with a tasting session based on typical Balearic products.
