Sant Mateu d'Albarca is another small and rather isolated village in the interior region of the northeast of the island. It is really far from the crowds of Ibiza, literally and figuratively. Red earth, agriculture, carob trees, hundred-year-old olive trees, orange trees and vineyards. A concentrate of yesteryear that deserves a small detour, for the charm of these few houses around their church and the beautiful surrounding landscape.
