BASECAMP EXPLORER

This very pretty camp is one of the only true "eco-lodges" of the Maasai Mara. It is located on the north bank of the Talek River, near the Talek Gate. The camp was built entirely with natural materials and everything was designed with the environment in mind: solar panels, waste sorting, waste water recycling... The local population is closely involved in the management of the camp. The tents are tastefully decorated and have a view of the river. The whole thing is really successful.
