This ranch is located west of Lewa. It can be reached by a difficult track from the Nanyuki-Isiolo road at Timau village, or by plane from Nairobi-Wilson, then a 1.5 hour transfer by road. It is not a community reserve but a private ranch operating on the same principle as Lewa, that is to say that the population is closely involved in the protection of the environment. The landscapes are just as beautiful as in Lewa, but the animals are less numerous and therefore more difficult to observe.
