The reserve, located northwest of Lewa, is managed by the Laikipiak Maasai community. They have followed the advice of the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy and have given up part of their pastoral activities to devote themselves to the protection of the environment. The animals are less numerous than in Lewa, but the landscapes are absolutely remarkable. Your Maasai hosts will make you discover all the secrets of their region as well as the typical fauna of this part of Kenya (reticulated giraffes, Grevy's zebras). Elephants can be numerous on the ranch, as it is located on their migration corridor
