NDERE ISLAND NATIONAL PARK

Very nice little island (4.2 km²⁾ located off Kisumu, uninhabited and classified as a national park since 1986. A haven of peace for birds. The presence of a rich fauna has earned it the status of national park. Many birds, impalas, zebras, hippos and a protected species of crocodiles. The best way to get there is to rent a motorboat (45 min crossing), ask your hotel or contact Ibrahim (Ibrahim Tours).
