This pretty little alkaline lake (18 km²) is located between Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru. Like its prestigious neighbor, Elementeita is often covered with thousands of pink flamingos (depending on the rainfall and the water level). Unfortunately, it is very difficult to reach its shores because it is surrounded by private property. The best plan to enjoy the riches of Lake Elementeita is to stay in one of its two luxurious lodges. Those who do not wish to stop there will be satisfied with the few beautiful viewpoints along the Nakuru-Naivasha road. On the heights of the lake, the Lemon Valley Farm also offers a beautiful panorama.
