At an altitude of 850 m, in the commune of Haut-Lignon, lies the charming little commune of Tence, inhabited today by some 3,000 inhabitants. Its exceptional setting (on the banks of the Lignon), its "charreyrons" (small winding streets in the old town), its small typical farms, or even its Pharmacy Museum, are worth a stop. Tence, crossed by the GR65 (the famous road to Santiago de Compostela) as well as by the GR 430 (the road to Saint-Regis), is also a privileged stop for pilgrims and hikers! Sportsmen and women should also take advantage of the many activities available nearby!
