The history of the restaurant de la Rose Blanche began in the 15th century with the purchase of a building by the City of Brussels. It became the property of the "Van der Rosen" family in the 10th century. Burnt down in 1695, it was rebuilt in 1702 by J.B. 't Serstevens and restored in 1885. In February 1919, the National Federation of Combatants was founded there from 14-18, in the Flemish style of the XVIIth century, it has three orders: Doric, Ionic and Corinthian. Today, it is an unmissable restaurant on the Grand Place known as the White Rose
