Travel Guide Huancabamba

Huancabamba: the "city that walks" (located 250 km south-east of Piura) has fourteen lakes, at least three of which are the favourites of witch doctors, shamans and healers: the lakes of Huaringas, Shimbe and La Negra. You are in the Andes and everything becomes fantastic. If you want to live an extraordinary experience, this is for you! You have to go to Salala, two hours away from Huacabamba, where healers are waiting for you and can also lodge you to spend the night there. You can go there by bus, taxi or via the Inca Trail, in this case, it requires several days of walking (ask IPeru in Piura).
