MUSEO ARQUEOLÓGICO DE ANCASH

This museum exhibits only a few pieces from the Recuay culture (200 to 600 AD), but all are of great value, whether they are ceramics, utensils or mummies. Outside, you can stroll through an amazing garden (the largest of its kind in South America) that houses 140 chavín monoliths. A stroll that invites reflection... A small museum with only 2 rooms, but worth a visit if you are in the area.
