This big town without much charm has seen the flowering of lodges and other organic restaurants. The market livens up Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays with its local colors and authentic products (nothing to do with the one in Písaq or Chinchero). The visitor will stop at the plaza de Armas, decorated with a sculpture in honor of corn and a church. Central, Urubamba is considered the capital of the Sacred Valley. It is possible to lodge close to the village at a low price, the lodges are more distant along the road or the river. Many of the restaurants are worth a visit because they offer new experiences.
