Relive the birth of the Inca Empire on the banks of the Titicaca River and enjoy a parade of folkloric dances to celebrate the city.
In Puno, this date is used to celebrate the legendary foundation of the Inca Empire. On the program: re-enactment of the birth of Manco Capac and Mama Ocllo who emerged from the waters of the Titicaca. The city itself is not to be outdone and organizes a parade of traditional dances which is reminiscent of the most famous festival of the region, that of Candelaria in February, as well as a big concert and a gastronomic fair. In short, it is an important date in the region and allows one to immerse oneself in a folklore that is still alive.

Une très belle fête, des danses, de la musique, des costumes du matin au soir. Les festivités commencent dès fin octobre. La parada universitaria notamment est très jolies (danses avec très beaux costumes du matin jusqu'à 23 h...). Si on a l'occasion d'être à Puno à ces dates, c'est vraiment à ne pas manquer !!!
