It is a beautiful countryside, about 11 km southeast of Arequipa (45 min). It is perhaps the village that has best preserved the character of the Arequipa of the past, as much in its costumes and traditions as in its inhabitants. Considered as one of the "lungs" of Arequipa because of its abundant vegetation, a great part of its population cultivates vegetables and fruits and joins the white city on weekends to sell their products. A charming village where you can enjoy the nature and the calm. Its picanterias and small bodegas of pisco are worth the detour. Little known by the tourists, here, you will be sheltered from the crowds of travelers and completely disoriented
