The owner of the Oasis, a pioneer lodge at the bottom of the Colca Canyon, has also launched his own agency to organize a turnkey tour. Pablo Junco organizes of course the treks to the Canyon but also hikes to destinations that are still not very touristy like the Cordillera de Bombaya (in front of the village of Cabanaconde), to the lagoon of Mucurca, its 4 800 meters and its pink flamingos, to the Nevado Mismi (sources of the Amazon) or through the Valley of the Volcanoes of Andagua. Nous avons passé deux merveilleux jours avec notre guide Raphaël qui nous a conduit dans le canyon de colca avec humour, curiosité et enseignement sur les plantes local. Après une première journée de descente dans le canyon de 14 km nous avons dormi à l’oasis pour remonter en 3h les 1200 m de dénivelé le lendemain ! Un magnifique trek que je conseillerai de faire sur trois jours pour pouvoir profitez de l’oasis et de sa piscine une journée !
