Located on the Plaza de Armas of Tacna, this cathedral of Renaissance and neo-Gothic style is very massive. Inside, its paintings from the Cusco school prevent it from being a total aesthetic wreck. And since the plans for the 1954 reconstruction were drawn up in the workshops of Gustave Eiffel, we cannot be accused of chauvinism! You can't miss this imposing downtown building. Go and have a look around, because both the exterior and the interior are worth a visit and admission is free.
