Travel Guide Cruzal

On the main road, shortly before Santo Antão, a sign indicates the direction of this small peaceful hamlet (it is in fact a little hidden by the coppice, just after the fork). You arrive at a fork, turn left. Park just before the stone bridge which overhangs a water mill. A small path leaves on the right: by taking it, you will be able to contemplate a beautiful waterfall, just below the mill. It is possible to take a bath there. To get back to the main road to Topo, just go straight on after the bridge. One of the three cheese factories on the island is located in Cruzal, which is another reason to stop by.
