Horta, one of the world's greatest sailing ports of call, is almost a must on any crossing between Europe and America. It celebrates its anniversary in August. It's the occasion for a multitude of festivities, including concerts, gastronomic stalls, large tables set up along the harbour, sailing races and outings.
