A private park in the middle of the city, ideal for a bucolic stroll in Ponta Delgada.
Next to the presidential palace, it's a private park whose main avenue leads to a hotel, the Casa do Jardim. José do Canto was the importer of Victorian English gardens to the Azores. A veritable oasis in the middle of the city, it's an ideal place for a bucolic stroll among magnificent specimens and numerous exotic varieties. The garden is an area of great landscape and botanical interest, populated by trees of impressive monumental size and unique morphology. Unfortunately, some parts of the garden lack maintenance.

Joli petit jardin qui vaut le détour. La nature nous ouvre ses bras et on s'y loge bien volontiers. On s'y sent apaisé et il y a un merveilleux goût de reviens-y.

Jardin très bien entretenu. Beaucoup d'espèces de végétaux. Entrée à 3€ par personne + plan à 0,50€. Énormes bambous. Un lot de variétés de roses.
