About 112 km west of Key West, and with an area of 262 km², it is the last archipelago of the Keys. It is composed of 11 islets, 2 of which are the main ones: Garden Key and Loggerhead Key. Garden Key is home to Fort Jefferson, a national monument. At the crossroads of the two Americas, this natural park sees thousands of birds from 300 species passing through every year during their migration.
