Bling-bling and a touch kitsch, eccentric and superficial: the Magic City has many faces other than those portrayed in TV series. On the one hand, you enter the realm of starlets and partying, but on the other, you discover a city resolutely turned towards the arts, with a unique Art Deco heritage. And, in addition to its beaches, Miami offers two ecological treasures: the Everglades and the Keys. When you come to Miami, you have the luxury of choosing between a Jet Set evening, a game of dominoes with the Cubans, visiting 1, 2, 3 museums, greeting a crocodile, swimming in the Keys and attending an NBA game! Miami is also one of the 13 best destinations for an EVG in Europe!

1- Miami Beach

Miami Beach is the picture postcard of Miami, even though the district is a separate municipality from the city. Situated on an island, this seaside resort was built along a sandy beach in the early 1930s. Today, it has become a veritable bling bling show: starlets in bikinis, blow-up aces in full effort, flashy luxury limousines... everyone competes for attention! Ocean Drive is the most sought-after avenue in the area, where the Jet-Set meet and gawk at each other in the trendy bars, restaurants and clubs.

2- Art Deco

Ocean Drive stretches all the way to South Beach, where you'll see some of the greatest Art Deco follies of the era, an era full of dollars and imagination. This style has been graced by a typical Florida "pastel touch" known as Tropical Art Deco. The largest district of its kind in the world, it boasts some 800 buildings, most of which are illuminated at night by huge, kitschy neon lights. The Casa Casuarina, where Gianni Versace lived and died, is no less than a replica of Christopher Columbus's Alcazar in Santo Domingo. Discover the magic of the Art Deco district with a Tour of the Forks and eat like a local !

3- Art and museums

One of our favorite neighborhoods in the city! Little Havana is the emblematic neighborhood of the Cuban population who arrived here in the late 1950s to escape Castro's regime. It's organized around Calle Ocho, which is absolutely exotic with its Cuban restaurants and stores, Latin music everywhere, cigar smells, murals and Mediterranean-style houses. Take a stroll around Domino Park to watch the old-timers playing dominoes, and follow in the footsteps of the neighborhood's Walk of Fame, which features our very own Julio Iglesias! Overlooking Byscayne Bay, this magnificent Italianate-style mansion once belonged to wealthy industrialist James Deering. The house's 34 rooms have been impeccably maintained, and it's impossible to give them a single style, as they display so many.
