Located in Jardim Do Mar, this address offers simple but clean rooms, some with ocean views.
It is with a smile and a fresh fruit juice that the sparkling Cécilia welcomes you. Its main house has rooms with simple but clean comfort (bathroom and ocean view for some of them). The copious breakfasts and delicious meals (vegetables from the garden!) are served in the common lounge. Outside there is a beautiful colourful garden and terrace with sensational views of the blue horizon and green cliffs. Unforgettable sunset. Ideal for small budgets in search of authenticity.

après des détours dans cette jolie ville, bon accueil à la casa Cécilia, comme partout à Madère où les gens sont très aimables. Chambres correctes, jolie casa, jardin bien fleuri. Les tables sont mises pour les groupes. Nous sommes deux. Nous avons dû insister fortement pour avoir des verres, avoir du sel , pas de poivre, et l'eau de table étant tiède, refus catégorique d'avoir de l'eau fraiche ou des glaçons... Par contre, le lait du déjeuner, lui, était bien glacé. Le repas était quelconque, poisson-riz bien sec et moins bien cuisiné que chez moi. Déception TOTALE. Pas de chance ?

The small village of Jardim do Mar is pedestrian and therefore very quiet and relaxing, right on the ocean. You have to cross the village by charming streets to get to Cecilia, a dynamic and high woman colours, very welcoming and who yields into four to serve guests... Its house is the first loges above the ocean and has a lovely garden well maintained and flowers, with tables and chairs to bask in the sun pre-dinner punch. The rooms are not very spacious and very simple... but setting, the environment and the reception are more than enough to compensate for!
