The parish church of Rribeira Brava, built in the 16th century, displays its immaculate façade in the heart of the municipality. Detail its typical bell tower topped by a checkerboard pyramid topped by a globe (symbol of King Manuel I). Then go inside to see the works located under its barrel vault and Gothic arches: a Virgin and Child of Flemish origin, an elegant white and grey chapel decorated with a gilded wooden altar (17th century) and a Flemish altarpiece presenting the Adoration of the Magi (the original is kept in the Museum of Sacred Art).

Belle église
Une petite visite dans cette église s'impose, attention aux horaires d'ouverture, j'ai eu le temps de prendre quelques photos et c'était l'heure de la fermeture. Dommage
This church is worth a visit. It is discovered that the diaspora contributed to remember state this church that has already suffered from the river of the torrent. It did suffer from the recent river? I know it but it is possible.
This church is from its architecture one of the most beautiful of Madeira, enhanced by its black and white square. It is in any case typical is characteristic of Igrejas of the island. The interior is interesting, but does not are among the most memorable of Madeira.
