LA PARREIRA

The concept is original: you first have to go to the butcher's (family property) to choose your meat and side dishes (fried corn, sweet potatoes, avocado salad). Then we cross the road and eat in a large room decorated with wooden logs (partial ocean view). Typical Madeira cuisine really succulent. Cheese skewer with herbs to test. We then recommend the house specialty: the beef skewer. The accompaniments are grown on the family's land. A slice of local life!
