Guaranteed Qualidade de Madeira, this traditional old-fashioned sweet factory founded in 1893 makes one of the best bolos of mel on the island. These preparations cherished through four generations breathe the scent of yesteryear and the time when they sailed to Africa and faraway lands on ships of the line. Amongst other sweets, the fruity jams and marmalades, linden or fennel candies and other crunchy ginger biscuits are displayed on wooden shelves or in the cakes of the day.

Excellentes confitures "maison", bonbon avec de vrais extraits de fruits, contrairement à ceux que l'on trouve le plus souvent dans les magasins de souvenirs, bolo de mel remarquable . En plus ce n'est pas cher (2,50€ le pot de 250 gr de confiture de mangue par exemple...)
