Ten years after its first listing, it's still as good as ever. A room, half in the basement, with a dozen tables in a pretty rustic decor and a protected terrace. On the menu, a choice of typical specialities that make the reputation of the house: tuna steak, black scabbardfish and a favourite suggestion: the chef's fashionable octopus, cooked then grilled, presented in a ceramic dish, laid on a drizzle of olive oil and sprinkled with fried onions, and accompanied by vegetables and creamed spinach. It is simply delicious. We speak French!

An excellent souvenir: a typical cuisine but quality, very attentive waiters one speaking perfectly French and humour, and a very reasonable bill... Recommended, especially as it is very close to the centre of Funchal
ok for 2 people if you take the apperot + 2 main courses + 1 dessert for two + 2 coffee and two growth café that costs you exactly €30 per person, the perfect service friendly cleanliness superb setting I will surely return
