The Plaza Mayor has long been in our favourite addresses, due to its location (just steps from Plaza Mayor, on the beautiful square Santa Cruz) and its family character. Modern and clean, he preserved his authenticity of ancient cerveceria. All 34 rooms are equipped with a warm welcome. If you have the means, follow the Del suite which occupies the attic on the 6 th floor and has a terrace where the deck chairs offer a unique view of the capital.

We stayed as 2 couples in this B&B as the place I normally stay in Madrid was fully booked. I would definitely return as the room was quite large and had everything we needed, the staff were very friendly and the little bag left on the door at night with water and cakes was a nice touch. It's in a good spot with plenty of restaurants and bars close by but not too noisy. The nearest metro was about 4 minutes away.

No vallan a este hotel!!! te Roban!!! pertenencias y no se hacen cargo,te ponen excusas entre empleados, el gerente No esta ni da la cara. Cuidadooo!! Son para desconfiar ,te arruinan las vacaciones,hasta tal punto pedi no entren mas a asear el cuarto.La cama matrimonial está dividida o son dos de 1 plaza juntas.No apto para personas con discapacidad tampoco o problemas de movilidad.La ducha se sale el agua se moja el piso del baño.El aire acond larga aire caliente.La unica estrella que le doy es la ubicacion y el servicio de cafeteria 24 hrs y con una atencion por la mañana.

La ubicación es fantástica la lado de Plaza Mayor y de la Puerta del Sol.
Nos trataron genial desde que llegamos. Nos dieron la facilidad de dejar las maletas allí antes de hacer el check in y poder aprovechar el día.
La habitación muy acorde con todo: camas cómodas, baño grande, toallas, geles,... La única pega es que la ducha no tiene mampara y el baño se moja mucho cuando te duchas aunque tengas cuidado.
Televisor, percheros,... Todo genial.
Por la mañana nos sorprendieron con una bolsa colgada en la puerta con dulces y botellas de agua ¡Nos encantó! Además, en la planta baja había una zona 24h con tés, café, dulces, fruta... Donde podías comer algo a cualquier hora del día.

Mi pareja y yo volveremos sin duda porque la experiencia ha sido más que positiva.
