Hotel offering spacious rooms with excellent quality bedding at very reasonable rates

Simply sublime! Besides, it's a palacio (palace). Furnished patio, magnificent marble lobby, sports hall, sauna, lounges shared with the daily press, 1900 wrought iron elevators, spacious rooms with excellent quality bedding, the establishment is truly perfect. Its situation adds, if necessary, to its advantages. For a service of this quality, the rates are also very reasonable.

Disappointed is the word that comes to mind. We were wrapping up a month in Spain and thought we would stay here. However, the woman checking us in was not friendly or welcoming which set a poor tone after a month of great experiences. She put us in a room overlooking the lobby which is attached to the restaurant which also serves the public in the adjacent plaza. There was music until after midnight each night due to the restaurant. It was very difficult to sleep which really put a damper on our four days there. However, in spite of our poor experience it is a nice hotel which is centrally located. The housekeeping staff is great. If you go, ask for a quiet room away from the lobby, plaza and street

I recently booked three colleagues into the Intelier Palacio San Martin for a week long stay. They reported that the location was excellent and the staff super helpful. The Mayor of Madrid got married on the day that they were due to depart and half the city was locked down, resulting in our scheduled chauffeur being unable to reach the hotel. The hotel staff managed to wrangle a taxi in the mayhem and the party made it to the airport just in time for their flight. A big thank you to the front office staff for being excellent at their jobs!

Es la segunda que voy porque me encanta el trato tan profesional que te dan la ubicación en pleno centro de Madrid y el hotel super limpio bien cuidado.
Los desayunos muy completos con sus trabajos que están muy atentos.
Un hotel al que volveré una tercera vez.

El hotel en líneas generales es excepcional. Las habitaciones muy amplias y cómodas, la ubicación inmejorable y el precio (si consigues una de las habitaciones económicas de planta baja, las cuales son prácticamente iguales a las estándar y por eso estan muy demandadas) es muy bueno.

Solo 2 detalles reseñables me impiden darle la 5a estrella (al menos a la habitación que nos tocó)

- La ducha tiene muy poca presión y de tanto en tanto salen rafagas de agua fría, lo cual en esta época del año no es muy agradable.

- El Chromecast conectado a la TV se activa aleatoriamente sin tocar nada, lo que interrumpe el visionado de la misma y, lo que es peor, hace que se encienda sola en mitad de la noche. Nos tocó quitar el enchufe para poder dormir.

Quitando esto, nos volveríamos a alojar aquí sin dudarlo si volviéramos a Madrid.
