Since 2013, this international festival of baroque music in Valletta has been held in emblematic venues such as the Manoel Theatre.
The first Valletta International Baroque Music Festival took place in January 2013. The extensive programme of this festival is intended to celebrate the identity of the capital, which was erected in 1565 by the Knights of St. John. The festival will take place in various venues: Manuel Theatre, Ta' Gieżu church, Jesuit church, national library, etc. The event, which invites renowned musicians, aims to make a mark and include Valletta in the European cultural calendar.
