It is the King's Own Band Club headquarters and a very recommendable address for those who want to taste Maltese cuisine in a local atmosphere and at very soft prices. You will soon recognize those who come to talk, watch television or play. It is family with good and plentiful Maltese cuisine, fish specialities and continental dishes. The servings are more generous (large salads and risottos), the more wanted dishes and the very careful presentation (the whole hippurus and the rabbit in stew take advantage of large coloured plates). And the rates were still very modest. Recommended by Petit Smart and several readers.

En plein coeur d'une rue commerçante de la Valette nous sommes tombés par hasard sur ce restaurant et avons été agréablement surpris. Tous les plats étaient excellents (mention spéciale pour les gnocchis aux la truffe), les portions étaient généreuses et le service agréable et amical.

Very dirty: dishes with finger marks from the dish served before or the empty dishes returning, interrupted toilets, no soap nor paper. We had sat next to the cellar who came a stinking smell and staff passed to leave the bins or are looking for fish known as " frais" on the menu. To be fresh it was fresh from frozen...
In the special menu local cuisine, fish was to be served with a capers sauce that we never view... Nondescript cuisine (tomato sauce in the bricks left the cellar...)
In addition very noisy, but especially salts (floor to ceiling)
